Before we start...
Hi all!
Hi, kids!
Back on the autumn, I made a review of TUGS. Here are my brief thoughts on a similar show, Theodore Tugboat. I hope you enjoy it. :)
FINAL THOUGHTS
Theodore Tugboat is a charming Canadian show aimed chiefly at younger children, although viewers od any age can enjoy it. The stories are set in Halifax, Canada, and revolve around the daily lives of tugboats working in Big Harbour and experiencing situations relatable to little (and big) ones.
The show not only boasts impressive modelwork and effects, but also an incredibly charming atmosphere surrounding Big Harbour. Each episode teaches a life lesson young viewers can understand and relate to through gentle, simple storytelling, which both kids and parents are likely to get engrossed in.
The characters themselves are likable and interesting as well, from our protagonist, Theodore himself, to Harbour Master, to Foduck the Vigilant, each one of them oozing unique personality. Even the side characters are far from being dull!
Lastly, the music is well-composed and suits the atmosphere of each episode perfectly. Moreover, the simple yet natural-sounding dialogue is the show's big strong point.
In summary, Theodore Tugboat is a great watch, especially for younger children interested in boats. But, of course, feel freee to watch it for yourself and firm your own opinion.
Before we say 'goodbye'...
That's all I've got for now. Thanks for attention and I see you all in March.
Love,
your Diva 🐚
